Our Story

Cascade Aviation is a flight school that is run like a flying club. It was developed by pilots for pilots offering affordable flight training and aircraft rentals to pilots and wannabe pilots. We started here at Skagit Airport when the Whidbey Island Navy Flying Club was shut down back in July of 2013. From the base the closest place to learn to fly from was in Bellingham or Arlington a one and a half hour drive either north or south each way after work with a flight lesson sandwiched in between did not sound to appealing. The Skagit Airport had just what we needed; four well maintained runways, aircraft maintenance on the field, a restaurant, and a place to train just to the north. Flying our of a non-towered airport saves both time and money. Come check us out. We are located at 15290 Flightline Road just past the Terminal Building on the airport.
