SANKOFA- Looking at the past to create a better future. The need for knowledge is universal, it need not be constrained to one geographical space.
SANKOFA's main focus is to bring awareness to improve the health education and health awareness among youth in Ghana, as well as to bring awareness to the UVM community to health related as well as educational issues in the African country of Ghana. The club will work to fundraise in order to be able to provide needed supplies and services for Ghanaian youth as well as to put on events in the UVM community to help foster knowledge and growth in the people here and in Ghana.
