Public meetings will be held to discuss Green Mountain Transit bus service changes to 96 Franklin County Commuter. The proposed changes eliminate 3 stops in Colchester, streamlining a more express route along I89. If approved, they will go into effect with GMT’s August schedule which starts August 24th. Changes are coming to GMT’s Route #1 (Williston) and Route #11 (City Connector) to improve service frequency and better connect you to South Burlington’s new City Center on Market Street. Starting August 25, 2025, Route #1 and Route #11 will work together to provide service every 15 minutes between Downtown Burlington and the South Burlington City Center during peak travel times.
