We interweave tech with ancient vocal practices to connect people with themselves and each other. Visit www.juneberrymusic.com for more information.

Juneberry Music encourages people of all ages to find their voices while enjoying an eclectic mix of music from many centuries and styles. Students choose First Class or Choir Class and work together for 10 weeks to develop good singing techniques, learn some music history and theory and have fun singing. Graduates go on to a variety of choral groups in the Upper Valley or come back to sing more with no performance pressure.

We're always beginning again, right? Each moment, a chance for freshness. Not always easy for me to remember, though -- so the presence of a new baby, new commitments, new season (happy summer solstice!), new pains in my body, a new year for A Breath of Song (coming soon...) -- all these things remind me that beginning again is constant, and it helps if I remember to release and allow, listen and appreciate!

This week's ribbon selection is all about new beginnings with songs from Lyndsey Scott, Steph Drouin, Alexa Sunshine Rose, Hannah Jeffery, DesirΓ©e Dawson, and myself.

Tune in at abreathofsong.com and/or join us on Sunday, June 21st at 4pm Eastern to sing the ribbon online with me! Learn more and register at www.juneberrymusic.com/ribbons-of-song.html

Singing about change makes it feels less scary... especially when singing with a dear friend. Thank you, Judi, for joining me in harmony this week in the latest of the roadtrip series.

It's not often I get to sing with a beloved mentor and coach in person... but this, the final Road Trip Episode, was a chance for just that! Judi Vinar kindly learned my song (better than I did, based on word and note goofs!!!πŸ˜‚) and we got to settle into it.

Judi said she particularly liked that it's a song you could dance to -- and its unusual melody shape -- and the words, "We're ancient beings." I like Judi's rich, buttery voice, her laughter, and her unassuming wisdom drops.

What do you like??

I am so chuffed to be back to Flow Singing! Feels like the best presence practice -- and I've MISSED it during my travels -- and I've missed the community of friends that has been building and deepening over the past three years. 🌱🌷🌱

If you're in the Burlington, VT area and want to join me, I'd love it! Here's the whole schpiel (plus the new LOGO!!!!)

Would you like to explore singing as a presence practice -- a way to drop into your own life, your own body, your own voice?

🩡 When: June 2nd Tuesday 11:15 am - 12:45 pm
and/or June 4th Thursday 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
πŸ’š Where: Heineberg Community Senior Center, Burlington
🧑 Cost: First week is free to try; one month = $80
πŸ’› All the details: https://www.juneberrymusic.com/flow-singing.html

Six songs for the month -- in June, the songs center returning to now, spring light, the interconnection of grief & love, keeping our hearts open, the great turning, and being grateful.

Minimal talk, maximum singing... no paper, but plenty of time for catching the songs -- no pressure, no performance, no angst!

Many people return every month, so there's a comfy, solid group -- and every month there are people who've never done it before, so there's a warm welcome and chance to explore with other newbies.

First week is commitment free -- just show up. If it feels like it's for you, stay for the month and let the songs become part of your life.

We're wildly inclusive -- you, showing up as you are, is exactly what we're hoping for! You can come either Tuesdays midday or Thursday evenings, or both -- (it is kind of addictive, gotta say...)

It wouldn't be an A Breath of Song road trip without a stop in Minneapolis to talk and sing with Sarina Partridge and Annie Schlaefer -- thank you to both of them for sharing their songs and their thoughts with all of us!
