✂️Arts & Crafts {Grades 1-5}

Get ready to get creative! Children will explore a wide variety of hands-on art activities, including painting, drawing, decorating, and designing. Each day, we’ll create a fun and unique project using different materials and techniques. This camp is perfect for kids who love to imagine, create, and get a little messy while making something special. It’s a great opportunity for young artists to express themselves and take home some really cool crafts! All supplies included!

P*E WEE CAMPS | Ages 3-5

⚾ P*e Wee Baseball ⚾
Let’s have fun while we work on throwing, catching, base running, and batting. Bring your baseball glove if you have one.

🏐 P*e Wee Volleyball 🏐
We will use lightweight volleyballs to introduce basic volleyball skills, including serving, setting, and passing.

🏀 P*e Wee Basketball 🏀
We’ll have your kids bouncing off the walls! We will lower the baskets and use smaller balls as we teach drills and skills. No competitive games, just lots of fun! Great for hand-eye coordination.

⚽ P*e Wee Soccer ⚽
Children will work on developing their soccer skills by practicing drills and working on proper ball handling.

🏀Next week is our "NBA Combine" & Olympic 3x3 Tournament Camp (Grades 3-10)! Your athlete will test their limits in an official combine setting, master elite half-court strategies like ball screening, and compete in a high-energy 3x3 Olympic-style tournament.

This camp will emphasize situational skill-building in half-court game situations. Players will also be taken through a combination of skill exercises in an NBA combine setting. A competitive 3x3 Olympic-style tournament will highlight the camp. Special situations such as ball screening, screen reading, etc, will be a daily fundamental emphasis as well.

🎾 CED offers tennis camps for all ages this summer! Whether you're a beginner or looking or level up your game, there's a spot for you.

🎾Young HITTERS Tennis:
The young HITTERS will be using large and low compression tennis balls (red) and appropriately-sized equipment on a shortened court. They will enjoy fun activities and games designed to improve hand-eye coordination while introducing them to basic tennis skills. All equipment will be available, or bring your own racket. Join us for tennis, exercise, and FUN!

🎾HITTERS Tennis:
The HITTERS class is designed for BEGINNER players in Grades 5-8. They will be using a variety of balls as appropriate. The class will cover grips, strokes, and scoring methods. During class, we will encourage competition while focusing on consistency and strategy. Participants should bring a tennis racket; equipment is also available if needed. All players are welcome. Players will be placed in groups according to ability at the discretion of the coaches.

🎾ACES Tennis:
The ACES program is designed for all ability levels in Grades 9-12. Depending on skill level, camp instruction will focus on improving consistency, placement, adding power and spin, serve, return of serve, and strategy for singles and doubles. For the ADVANCED skill level, specialty shots (drop shot, over-head, inside out), spin, mental toughness, and advanced strategy for both singles and doubles play will be covered through drills, point play, and match play. All participants must bring one can of UNOPENED tennis balls and a tennis racket. Players will be grouped according to ability.

This 4-day camp is designed with the beginner in mind. The camp will introduce players to the sport of soccer. Participants will have lots of fun while learning about the sport and developing basic soccer skills. Please meet on Romo Field at Burlington High School.

🪡 Only 5 seats left! "Scrappy Doll" Hand Sewing Class (Grades 3-8) is calling all creative kids, no sewing experience required! Your child will learn the basics of hand sewing to design, stuff, and accessorize their very own custom doll. They will gain a fun new skill and head home with a unique handmade creation. 🪡"Scrappy Doll" Hand Sewing Class {Grades: 3-8}

In this class, the students will create their own doll using scraps and hand sewing skills. You do not have to have any experience with sewing to take this class. We will put a doll together, stuff it, and sew on a face and other accessories. You will get to take the doll home at the end of class.

3rd & 4th graders are asked to have an adult 'helper' attend class with them. 5th - 8th graders are welcome to invite an adult 'helper' to join them, but it is not required.
