❤️ A Heartwarming Experience Today 💚

Today, we had the privilege of presenting a $500 check to Burlington Elementary Principal Mr. Ashworth.

When you find your passion and get the opportunity to live it every day, it becomes anything but “going to work.” After spending some time with Mr. Ashworth, his staff, and the students at Burlington Elementary today, you can tell that’s exactly what’s happening inside those walls. It was truly special to witness, even if only for a short time.

What a blessing this community has in Mr. Ashworth and his incredible staff. The hospitality shown to us by the administration, teachers, and especially the students was something we won’t soon forget.

One of the biggest reasons we wanted to bring RNR Tire Express to the Tri-State was to become a real part of a community we live in and love, not simply just a business located here. Days like today are exactly what that means to us and we enjoyed every moment.

Thank you, Burlington Elementary, for welcoming us with open arms. We’re proud to be your neighbor, proud to support your students, and incredibly thankful for everything you do for the children in our community. 💙💛

Wow! Check out one of The B’s greatest…Diane Lawson! The Lawrence County Educational Service Center is spotlighting teachers through the year. They picked a teacher who loves students and loves sharing her gift of teaching with the Burlington community.

🌟 Feature Friday: Meet Diane Lawson! 🌟

For this week’s Feature Friday, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Diane Lawson, a Kindergarten teacher at South Point Local School District! With 24 years of teaching experience, including 19 years serving students in Lawrence County, Mrs. Lawson has spent her career helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. She especially loves teaching kindergarten because it is such an important year filled with so many exciting firsts, from reading and writing to numbers, friendships, and becoming more independent. Her hope is that every student leaves her classroom knowing they were loved, encouraged, and capable of doing great things. ❤️ South Point holds a special place in Mrs. Lawson’s heart because she attended the very school district where she now teaches!
A few fun facts about Mrs. Lawson:
🖍️ Her favorite school supply is Mr. Sketch scented markers
🥤 Her go-to teacher treat is Diet Coke and Peanut M&M’s
🛍️ Her students might be surprised to learn that she still loves shopping for new school supplies and clothes!
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Her advice to new teachers is to be patient, be flexible, celebrate the small victories, and always make sure your students know they are loved and believed in.

The Fayette Township Fire Department and Lawrence County Ohio Sheriff's Office were on hand to help with safety drills today. Staff, students, and emergency services all work together to keep our campus safe.
