Think College Vermont @ UVM is a small, innovative, inclusive, academic, social, and vocational program for students with developmental disabilities or other support needs seeking a college experience. Participants may earn a 9-18 credit-hour certificate of college studies for non-matriculated students designed to include:
* Academic Enrichment
* Socialization
* Independent Living Skills (including self-advocacy)
* Integrated Work Experiences & Career Skills

Those who have had the good luck of meeting devoted community member and mother, Lynn Orton, will tell you that her compassion and grit know no bounds. She is committed to supporting individuals with disabilities, whether it be in her own family or her Vermont community. Lynn volunteers with the Special Olympics and recently opened her bakery, Sweet Abilities, in Fairfax. Sweet Abilities is dedicated to reminding people that disability really just means different ability—not to mention making sure Fairfax never runs out of delicious treats!
