As part of the upcoming Graduate Student Appreciation Week, GSS will be hosting a virtual trivia night on Thursday, April 7th at 6.30 pm.

The Graduate College, Graduate Student Senate and Larner College of Medicine will be celebrating National Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week during the week of April 4-8, 2022. National Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week was started in 1993 by three students who “wanted to find a way to physically manifest support and appreciation of the contributions, impact and value of graduate students.”

To celebrate, we are planning a series of in-person and virtual events which focus on health and well-being, and professional development. Best of all – the graduate college will be giving away free stuff all week!

We are pleased to announce that GSS will be hosting another Coffee Break on Friday, March 25th at the GSS Office (Davis Center Room # 311T) from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. The event is completely free for UVM graduate students. See you there!

We will be hosting a Graduate Students Mixer this Friday, March 25th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Orlando's Bar and Lounge near Church Street. GSS will cover the cost of one appetizer or meal for UVM graduate students. RSVP: http://forms.gle/aKbBoaCodnEHiFtq9

Join GSS for a movie night at Roxy Cinema in Burlington after 6 pm on Friday, November 5th. GSS will be providing a free ticket to every graduate student from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Graduate students may also purchase snacks at a discounted price. You can choose to watch any one of the 6 movies being played that night at the cinema. We will send the exact times of the movies in another email to the RSVP’d participants, but you can also check them online on Roxy cinema’s website later this week.
