It was a great week with post-master’s in Algebra for All. The group spent a week of their summer thinking deeply about algebra concepts and how to create access for all students. A couple of familiar faces also stopped by to do some math and say hello!

We are excited to announce that VMI has been awarded a Nonprofit Capacity Building grant from the Vermont Community Foundation!

This grant will allow us to partner with local experts to strengthen our outreach and develop a clear vision for our role in Vermont's educational landscape and beyond. Additionally, it will help us approach fundraising strategically and sustainably, ensuring that VMI continues to empower teachers and strengthen math education across Vermont.

A huge thank you to the Vermont Community Foundation for investing in this work and supporting educators!

For those looking to join the VMI master's program:
The priority deadline to join Cohort '26 is approaching quickly on March 30th. We will continue to accept applications after this date as space allows.

We will also be offering several courses for professional development graduate credits throughout the summer. Check out the VMI website for more information!

In case you've stopped checking school email and are officially on break (as you should be!), here’s a quick note: in addition to MSL Online, we’ll be offering in-person standalone courses in Number Theory and Essential Mathematics of the Elementary Grades starting this January.

Applications are still being accepted for the Post-Master’s Certificate Program, too. There’s still time to join!
