This January, we headed back to OC with our students to visit our partners and experience the action sports industry at its peak🏄🌊

Congratulations to Central High student Ruthann Bray! Ruthann was recently honored by Vans for her outstanding work in the Gone Boarding program. As the only Central Ranger in the program this year, she independently created and presented a commercial to Vans, competing against students from 48 schools across 10 states. Her creativity earned her a custom electric guitar and a certificate for a free pair of Vans shoes, an incredible accomplishment!!

What began as a vision to impact students in a transformational way has grown into a program that is now in 50 schools.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the students, educators, and supporters for believing in us and our mission.

With this milestone, we stay committed to expanding Gone Boarding to challenge and disrupt traditional education.

We are stoked to be partnering with this crew at the Emil & Grace Shihadeh Innovation Center. What they are doing to bring agency and choice into the secondary experience is amazing!!!

Annual HQ trip 📍

Each year, students design a snowboard graphic for the Burton team. This year’s theme was the 70s 🪩🤘. One board is then selected to be manufactured in Burton’s facilities, where the crew teams up with students to build the board!
