We have now added a page that lists all of our activities that are now suitable for teaching with social distancing in place. When you log in, you will see, under "Recently Added", :"Music Activities for Social Distancing Without Singing or Shared Instruments".. Click on it, and you will be directed to a page that will list, with links, activities that can be used if you are teaching in a classroom with social distancing protocols.

Our web developers are right now working on adding a category on the search page for COVID-19...the two categories will be "Social Distancing" and "Remote Learning." That should be done in the next day or two.

Deborah Skydell Pasternack is now hard at work on material for remote learning, and we will announce it here as soon as that material is ready.

A hand clap for grades 2-3
Check out our new bunny animation of "Sorida," a hand clap originating from Zimbabwe. You'll enjoy a lot of smiles and laughter as the children try to catch each others' hands. The song has just three pitches, "so", "mi" and "do", so it's great for teaching "do" or the tonic of a melody. It's also excellent for teaching the fermata and for giving individual children the chance to be singing leaders.
