Salish Sea Deaf School (SSDS) is a K- 8 private school established in 2015.There is no tuition cost to families, we partner with your local school district to provide educational services within a direct instruction, bilingual environment. (American Sign Language and English)

Our motto at SSDS is 'Achieving More', because that is what parents, staff, the board, and students expect. Not only for

academics, but for overall growth of the whole child. We are proud to foster a sense of community and contribution for each student. SSDS students not only receive specially designed instruction from a teacher who is fluent in ASL, but they also have many opportunities for community involvement, hands on labs (field trips) for applied learning, and many guest speakers and visiting teachers.
