The Show Must Go On: Theater During a Pandemic Whether on stage performing, behind the scenes doing prop work, or in the audience, each year the BHS community looks forward to the Drama Club’s productions. 📣📣📣ONE ACT AUDITION INFO!!

Audition pieces for the student directed One Act plays will be available today. Paper copies can be picked up outside the EMS library anytime after block 3 today. These pieces will also be placed in a Google Drive. For access to this drive, please email Mrs. Skoglund.

Auditions will be held from 1-3pm on Tuesday, December 15th in the Dining Room of the First Congregational Church (38 South Winooski Avenue).

💥Reminders:

Participation in the One Acts is open to all students in grades 9-12. There will be no cuts - anyone wanting to participate will have a part.

This year we have shows that will perform in person with casts of 2-7 members. We also have a show that was specifically written to be performed virtually. This show has a cast of 17.

Rehearsals will be through Google Meets with in person rehearsal options on Mondays beginning after the New Year.

Hello, Folks! Mr. Green posted in the announcements last week that there was a One Act meeting today at noon. That info is incorrect, because we are in class in person at that time. The next Drama Club meeting will be Monday, November 30th at noon to discuss the auditioning process, etc. for the One Acts. The link for this meeting is below. We have a wonderful group of directors who have chosen some excellent plays to produce, so we are thrilled to get this season up and running.

The One Acts are student directed short plays. Auditions are open to the entire BHS student population. Everyone who auditions is guaranteed a part (though not necessarily the one you auditioned for). We would also like to meet with folks who are interested in working on our tech crew at this time as well. This is a wonderful opportunity to try a new extracurricular activity, meet some fun people, and gain some valuable public speaking skills.
