While at state convention they gave awards, Alivia Hall, Olivia Hightower, Kendall Donley, and Gabby Canup all achieved their state degrees they worked very hard for it!

Also, Lexie Hester earned her American degree which is the highest achievement an FFA member can achieve! She will earn her American degree at national convention this October!

This past weeks our FFA competed at the states convention!

Forestry placed 1st!
Nursery Landscapes placed 1st!
Dairy quality and products got 1st!
Agriculture science placed 4th!
Floriculture placed 10th!
Agricultural mechanics placed 13th!

Forestry, Nursery landscapes, and Dairy Quality will all be going to the national FFA convention later this year!

We are so proud of all of our FFA teams that competed!

The Southern Alamance FFA Chapter attended the West Central Region Rally Wednesday where students competed in various CDE and LDE competitions and were very successful. The Nursery Landscape team placed first overall with Savannah Williams as the high scoring individual. The Floriculture team placed first overall with Samantha Ingle as the high scoring individual. the Ag Mechanics team placed 3rd overall. The Introduction to Horticulture team placed 4th overall. Braelynn Morgan placed 5th overall in Job Interview. The Hunter Safety Red and White teams received their 2nd and 3rd place plaques from their competition held on March 7th.

Our plant sale is quickly approaching! We hope to see you this Saturday, April 18th, from 8am to 12pm. You will see all of our prices as well as plants available for purchase.
