Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is going to ask a district court to reinstate Iowa's "fetal heartbeat" law. The law will require physicians to conduct an abdominal ultrasound to test for a fetal heartbeat on any woman seeking an abortion. If a heartbeat is detected, a physician cannot perform an abortion.

“As governor, I will do whatever it takes to defend the most important freedom there is: the right to life”, she said, yet she does nothing to protect people from gun violence.

There are 125 days until Election Day. There are two women on the ballot, but only one woman SUPPORTS bodily autonomy. I’ll be voting for .

Hear me out... I love the satisfaction of the aesthetic when they’re done. I hate the amount of times I try to figure out if I hung the border straight, cutting things too short, trying to put up paper by myself, cutting any pieces out, and basically all of it 😂😂 I have 2 bulletin boards in my room. One is a calendar. One I set up last year that I thought I was going to update every month or so with new pictures. NOPE 😂 Kudos to all of you with your cute seasonal bulletin boards... it’s not for me! Instead I have a chalkboard in my room on Instagram that I use for backdrops for pictures of my students throughout the year when I’m feeling creative. I like to print copies and send them home for families...who are always so appreciative!

I’m not ready to go back to school, but my planner is!

After wanting to create my own planner for the last 3 years, I finally sat down and did it. It was the perfect time because I didn’t want to spend money on a planner I won’t be using for 3 months. I’ve also found that I don’t use many of the pages included in most planners on the market. Bonus points that I get to put lyrics on every lesson planning page! 😍😍😍😍
