Racine County 4-H A community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills

UW-Extension youth programs teach young people about responsibility, decision-making, problem solving and leadership. Through hands-on activities, youth learn practical life skills while having fun. Activities include civic engagement, nutrition, cultural competency, enrichment in the arts, community gardening, camping, sewing, cooking, and computer technology. In Racine County 4-H, we grow leaders.

So when the first day of Racine County Fair judging brings high heat, miserable humidity…and then storms strong enough to flood fair entrances and send many to their basements, causing people to be late and/or frazzled…

And the Cloverbud Superintendent is there but has laryngitis…

The Junior Leaders who are able to be at the fair work together, jump into unexpected roles, smile and reassure young families, and ultimately…

4-H ON!!!!😃🍀
