"You Never Mentioned Him To Me" performed by my dad, Gary Carr 16 yrs & his sister Denise Carr 12 yrs (aunt).
WOW their voice were perfect together! ❤️

*Back Story: A few years ago as a surprise to my dad, I decided to doctor up his childhood gospel recordings & add drums & percussion to them. My dad & his family performed in church a lot, & apparently he recorded everything. Sounds familiar. There were at least 50 reals to listen through & digitize before EQing my favorites.
Once finished, I had him listen to it in my car, & immediately his face lit up and tears gathered in his eyes hearing Denise & him singing. Denise was killed by a drunk driver on her 16th Birthday, so he hadn't heard her voice in 50 plus years. He wasn't an emotional man, but this had touched him deeply.
He was completely blown away by the fact I added drums & it sounded like I was there when they recorded them. He was proud of my work, & had me make cd's for family & friends.
Getting to make music with my teenage dad and aunt I never knew, and seeing how happy it made him pleases my soul.

I love you, Dad!! You were the best!! I sure miss you & Momma.
