Paddles up! 🛶 Last week, our Residential Educators and students took advantage of a warm Vermont afternoon and headed out for some kayaking. We'll take any excuse to stay out on the water a little longer! ☀️

We were thrilled to be part of the NATSAP - National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs East Coast Regional Conference!

Our Admissions team attended the conference, and Rock Point School was also one of three participating programs in a program crawl, giving educational consultants and therapeutic professionals the opportunity to visit supportive programs in the Burlington, VT area and learn more about the work we do.

Thank you to NATSAP for bringing professionals together and giving us the opportunity to share more about the mission and community of Rock Point School.

And just like that, we’re back! 🎉

Opening Day yesterday was full of reunions, new beginnings, and plenty of excitement as we welcomed our students and their families back to campus (and welcomed some new faces to the Rock Point community!).

We’re so happy to have everyone here and can’t wait to see all that this year has in store. Here’s to a great year ahead!

Students and staff aren’t the only ones getting ready for the new school year. 🐾

The pets of RPS have been patiently waiting for everyone to return to campus, too — including Shawarma, our Dean of School’s cat, who recently made his rounds around the building. 🐈‍⬛

Just a few more days, Shawarma!

We’re excited to welcome Grace Galligan to Rock Point School as our newest Residential Educator!

Grace brings a love of creativity, mindfulness, and connection to campus. She’s also a certified yoga instructor and has experience working with high school students through the Kenyon Review Young Writers Workshops.

When she’s not at Rock Point, you’ll likely find Grace reading, writing, making pottery, or exploring the woods. 📚🌲

Welcome to the RPS community, Grace! 💚
