🧪🍭 Science Investigation in Mrs. Mathews’ Class! 🍭🧪
We kicked off our first science investigation with a sweet challenge: How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? 😋
Students practiced the scientific method by asking a question, making predictions, conducting a fair test, collecting data, and drawing conclusions from their results. They quickly discovered that being a scientist means being curious, making observations, and sometimes doing a LOT of licking! 😂
What a fun way to start the year and get our young scientists thinking like scientists! 🔬🧠🍭
