Stiller Women in Business hosted a spring networking event at Hula, bringing together Champlain students, alumni, campus leaders, and community employers for an evening of professional connection.
Open to all students regardless of major or year, SWIB is built on the idea that building your network early, in a supportive, inclusive space, makes a real difference. They aim to explore, transform, and ignite the business world. Moments like these are exactly what that is all about. ๐ผ๐คฉ

This was a standout year for Champlain College Esports, both on and off the competitive stage.
This semester, Varsity Rocket League, Varsity Overwatch, and Club Overwatch Baja all finished with perfect, undefeated records. Varsity Valorant and five additional club teams posted winning records, sending eleven rosters into post-season championships.
To add another win, Champlain Esports raised over $3,000 for the Golisano Children's Hospital at UVM Health through their annual Extra Life fundraiser, a 48-hour gaming event in support of Children's Miracle Network hospitals.
Competing at a high level while giving back to the community. That's Champlain Esports. ๐ฎ๐

Two years ago, Champlain College and nuwave Equity Corporation set out to help Vermont businesses build more inclusive, human-centered workplaces. We recently celebrated everything that grew from that vision.
Through the Vermont Culture Innovators Project, supported by the Vermont Community Foundation, students worked directly with businesses and stakeholders across the state, driving real cultural change and discovering who they are as professionals along the way.
Vermont is better for it, and so are they. ๐ ๐

This past semester, six Computer Science students partnered with BETA TECHNOLOGIES to build an internal knowledge-sharing app.
They presented new iterations to stakeholders at BETA, and made design calls that hold up in production. By the final presentation, one BETA employee called it the best he'd seen in seven years at the company.
BETA's Chief Information Officer, Blain Newton, told the students directly: "Every conversation we had, I remember each of you calling on a partner to carry the conversation into the next topic," he said. "That ego-less knowledge sharing is exactly what great software development looks like."
Three students walked away with competitive summer internships that were earned after 15 weeks of proving themselves to one of Vermont's fastest-growing companies.
