ALUMNI WEEKEND RECAP: PART 2
🍺🌭 BEER, BAGS & BRATS

49 bags teams, a sold-out crowd, and more than $13,000 raised for Catholic Central Athletics! 💙🤍

Our annual Beer, Bags & Brats fundraiser was one for the books and another reminder of what can happen when the Hilltopper community comes together. From the bags tournament and the silent auction to great food, local beer, and plenty of laughs, Topper Bowl was filled with CC spirit all evening!

First, the rain tried to join the party, but thankfully we were prepared! A huge thank-you to Elite Rentals for providing the tent that kept everyone covered when the rain rolled in. And in true Wisconsin fashion, before long the clouds cleared, the sun came out, and the fun kept going!

Next, we have to talk about that dunk tank.

😂💦 Senior Wyatt L., Principal Kelly, Athletic Director Joe Schiessl, Coach Jim Friend, Coach Mike Seitz, and Coach/History Teacher Dan Meddaugh all took their turn in the hot seat and it was definitely a crowd favorite.

We also loved having our friends from St. Francis de Sales Parish School join the fun with their tent featuring cotton candy, treats, and loaded lemonades! 😋

And a huge congratulations to our bags tournament winners! 🏆

🥇 1st: Charlie & John Klipstine
🥈 2nd: Wyatt L. & Austin B.
🥉 3rd: John & Ann Muellebach

Lastly and most importantly, THANK YOU.

Thank you to everyone who attended, competed, volunteered, bid in our silent auction, donated, sponsored, and helped make this year's event such a success!

A special thank-you to our silent auction donors and to those who generously donated beer and wine, including Low Daily, The Runaway Micropub and Nanobrewery, Braden Hocking/North Pillar Brewing Co, the Amborns, Jim Friend, Jean Kelly, the Hazards, the Arrietas, and the Richter families. Your generosity helped make this day possible! 💙

Good competition. Great people. A little rain. A lot of laughs. And one INCREDIBLE Hilltopper community.

That's what traditions like Beer, Bags & Brats are all about.

We'll see you next year!

Choosing a high school is about finding the right fit.

At Catholic Central, we provide an exceptional education rooted in Christ and faith formation, within a community where students are known, supported, and challenged.

Through our new block schedule, students have the time and flexibility to dive deeper into their academics, explore their interests, and take advantage of opportunities including college-credit courses, personalized guidance, career-planning tools, and real-world experiences.

Together, these experiences help students discover their passions, reach their potential, and build a pathway toward where they want to go next.

ALUMNI WEEKEND RECAP: PART 1💙🤍

There’s just something special about coming home to Catholic Central.

We kicked off Alumni Weekend Friday night with a packed campus, familiar faces, and an incredible amount of Topper Pride!

Before kickoff, our Parent Connectors welcomed families and alumni for a tailgate featuring Fire N Smoke, while alumni had the opportunity to walk the halls again, tour the school, see what’s new, and reminisce about their own days at CC.

Then it was time for Friday Night Lights at the Topper Bowl, and what a night it was! 🏈

The stands were FULL, alumni were back cheering alongside current students and families, and the energy throughout the Bowl was incredible. Our CC/CLS Topper Eagles capped off the night with a 32–20 victory over Johnson Creek in their first home game of the season! 🙌

But the best part of the night was seeing so many generations of Hilltoppers together again. Students become alumni, traditions are passed down, and no matter how many years go by, there will always be a place to come home to at Catholic Central.

That’s what it means to be for life.

Thank you to our alumni, families, students, staff, Parent Connectors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make Friday such a memorable start to Alumni Weekend.

And we were only getting started… 👀

Stay tuned for Alumni Weekend Recap Part 2: Beer, Bags & Brats! 🍺🌭

Be Greater. Be Connected. Be Catholic Central.

IT’S ALMOST HOMECOMING WEEK HILLTOPPERS! 💙🤍

One of our favorite weeks of the year is almost here and there’s nothing quite like Homecoming at Catholic Central!

It’s a week when our halls get a little louder, the blue comes out in full force, traditions come back to life, and generations of Hilltoppers come together to celebrate the community we call home.

Get ready for a full week of dress-up days, class competitions, school spirit and activities, the Homecoming Parade, Friday Night Football, and of course, the Homecoming Dance!

Students, start planning those outfits and get ready to show us which class has the MOST Topper Pride. 👀

And Homecoming isn't only for our current students. It's a celebration of what it means to be a Hilltopper - past, present, and future.

Alumni, we want you celebrating with us too! Come back, cheer on the Toppers, reconnect with familiar faces, and experience Homecoming at CC again!

Tradition.
Community.
Memories that last long after graduation.

Once a Hilltopper, always a Hilltopper. 💙

Rooted in Faith. Connected by Tradition.✝️

On Thursday, Catholic Central students, faculty and staff celebrated its Annual Welcome Back Mass at St. Mary Immaculate Conception. Fr. Larry Chapman presided over the Mass where new students accepted a lit candle receiving “The Light of Christ” as a symbol of their faith and wore a special medal symbolizing the beginning of their Catholic Central journey.

These medals are part of a tradition that connects one generation of Hilltoppers to the next. New students wear them at Welcome Back Mass, and they are not worn again until Senior Mass, when graduating seniors pass them down to the junior class entrusting the next generation with the responsibility of carrying forward Catholic Central’s traditions of faith and excellence.

It is a simple tradition with a powerful message:

"What we are given, we are called to carry forward."

As we begin another school year, may we continue to walk in the Light of Christ, grow together in faith, and honor the legacy entrusted to each of us.

Welcome to the journey, Hilltoppers. 💙🤍

DRUMROLL PLEASE...

Catholic Central is incredibly excited to welcome home alumna Angela Aldridge ’02 as our new Varsity Dance Head Coach! 💙🤍

Angela’s connection to CC runs deep...from her own years as a four-year varsity dancer and All-State honoree to following in the footsteps of her mom, Sue Gavran, who coached the program for a decade.

Now, she’s returning to CCHS to help lead the next generation of Hilltopper dancers!

We couldn’t be more excited to have Angela back at Catholic Central and carrying on a family tradition that has been part of our dance program for years.

A message from Coach Angela:

"I am absolutely thrilled to step back into the role of Head Coach of the Varsity Dance Team at Catholic Central High School!

Being a 2002 CCHS graduate, former 4-year varsity dancer, and All-State honoree, this place holds a massive piece of my heart—especially continuing a family tradition following my mom, Sue Gavran, who coached from 2000 to 2010. CCHS has always felt like home, largely thanks to the supportive, close-knit environment that encouraged well-rounded student involvement.

When I’m not coaching alongside my husband with Burlington Little League or cheering on our son, you can find our family enjoying movie nights (with lots of popcorn) or relaxing with a good book at our home in Waterford.

I am so excited to jump back into this role, get back to CCHS, and look forward to an amazing season ahead. As we’ve always said from the beginning: Keep dancing!"

Welcome home, Coach Angela! We can’t wait to see what’s ahead for CC Dance!
