Who loves a 50's Sock Hop?

The Fogcutters are having a Dinner and Plus Dance on Oct. 10, 2026. So go find your Poodle skirts, saddle shoes and guys get your white t-shirts and rolled up jeans on and dance the afternoon away.

But plan to stay for the Chili Fundraiser immediately following the dance. We'll have a chili bar with meat and vegan options, cornbread, coleslaw, salad and dessert. Donation jar available.

First dance of the 26/27 dance season!! We are giving a special honor to Bob and Linda Berka for all the many years of cueing rounds for not only the fogcutters but many clubs throughout the Mt. Baker council.

The years of dedication to teaching and cueing for so many students and round dance enthusiasts deserves our huge thank you and we will be hosting a pizza 🍕 party following the dance. Please join us.

More nostalgia this morning we went to Kings Park, the original football field dance where it all started when there were 3000+ dancers out here on plywood!

Dancing in the heat in the day and the stars at night!! We even got a commemorative badge dangle for showing up.

Danced with couples from Alberta and Ontario today.

Hope everyone is having fun dancing this summer.

We are busy planning lots of fun things to keep it lively at the Skagit River Rendezvous on Labor Day weekend September 4-7th 2026.

The style will be western barn dance theme. So bring your boots spurs and bandanas and add us to your list of summer fun events.

‼️‼️The Fidalgo Fogcutters have some news to share with everyone who has pre-registered for the upcoming 2026 Skagit River Rendezvous. Or are planning to attend the Labor Day weekend festivities. ‼️‼️

I'm sure most of you are aware of the unfortunate situation in Spokane and the widespread losses that people have suffered as a result of these tragic fires. Among the victims of the fires is the family of our friend Dan Preedy. His daughter's home burned down in one of the fires, which has left a number of significant challenges for the family as they recover from this heartbreaking loss.

Our Fogcutters club caller Steve Noseck is a longtime friend of Dan and his family. Steve came to the Fogcutters and volunteered to let Dan take over his caller slot in the line-up at the Rendezvous so Dan can use the income to help with fire recovery expenses. The Fogcutters support this very considerate and worthwhile offer, and after confirming things with Dan, we are happy to announce that Dan Preedy will be joining Ray Brendzy and Randy Preskitt at the 2026 Skagit River Rendezvous from 4-7 September!!

At the dance we will also have a donation jar out during the dance weekend for anyone who wishes to donate to the relief fund for the community of Spokane and those affected and/or the damage caused by this wildfire. If you cannot attend you can send your donations with a friend who is coming and the monies will be sent with Dan back to Spokane directly into the community where most needed.

We all know how close our dancing community is and when one is hurt we rally around to help ease the pain by standing together.
Thank you for being gracious, Steve and Leslie. Your kindness will multiply and help many.

Danced with the Prairie Shufflers in Tricities last night!! They just renovated the Shufflers shanty and it was cool and pleasant in there.
I felt very welcomed and had a great time dancing. 💃 Melissa James was the caller up from Vancouver WA what a great singing voice!!
