FTHS Senior Trip 2024

Day 2 Complete! On to Animal Kingdom today 🌳

Day 1 was a success!!

We made it! Luggage and all. Wishing our seniors a great Senior Trip!

**Reminder: Report time is 2:15am tomorrow. If you plan on leaving your car at the school, please park in the front parking lot by the music room.

*REMINDER!: There is a mandatory luggage check TOMORROW, Mon April 15th from 5:30pm-6:15pm in the High School Atrium

**Grocery Deliveries**

3 weeks away! Disney allows you to bring outside food & drinks into the park. If you do not plan on packing snacks, you may use Amazon Fresh or Instacart to order groceries to the room. Things to keep in mind:

-- Hotel rooms only have beverage size refrigerators

-- The trip is only 5 days 4 nights. It might be a good idea to plan to share snacks w/ friends

-- Address for delivery is (1050 Century Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830). You will also need to order under the student's name

-- Amazon Fresh orders can only be made up to 2 days in advance and must be picked up in a selected 2 hour window

-- Instacart orders can only be made up to 5 days in advance and must be picked up in a selected 2 hour window (Publix is the most popular with Instacart)

-- Groceries will be held at Bell Services for 2 hours but you will need to pick up the order at Bell Services. (most likely in the morning or when you arrive back from the parks)

-- If you order through Amazon instead of Amazon Fresh you will need to pay a fee to pick up the package

**URGENT TRIP INSURANCE INFO**

We apologize for this miscommunication on our part. Trip Insurance for the Senior Trip is REQUIRED for each student. The various contracts for reservations are written in such a way that if there are travel disruptions, the entire group would receive compensation or would receive the same travel changes and reimbursement for expenses. We want to make sure everyone has the same protections and benefits if there are unexpected delays, transfers, or cancellations by the airlines or parks. The cost for the insurance is not too expensive (around $80) and it depends on the number of students in the particular hotel room. Review the documents below and click on the link to purchase the insurance using a credit or debit card. You will be asked for the total trip cost: ($1699 for quad, $1763 for triple, $1895 for double). You will also be asked to enter the initial trip deposit date: 10/2/2023. Please make sure to purchase this insurance no later that March 15th.
