अत्यन्त दुःखका साथ भर्मन्ट हिन्दू मन्दिरले श्रीमती मेनुका निरौलाज्यूको दुःखद निधनको खबर सम्प्रेषण गर्दछ। उहाँ सबित्रा बरालकी प्यारी आमा तथा श्री कपिल बरालको सासू आमा हुनुहुन्थ्यो। उहाँको आज, सेप्टेम्बर १५, २०२६ तारिख नेपालमा निधन भएको हो।

स्वर्गीय श्रीमती मेनुका निरौलाज्यू नेपालमा झापा, धाइजनमा आफ्ना छोरा बुहारीहरु तथा परिवारसँग बस्दै आउनुभएको थियो। हिन्दू परम्पराअनुसार नेपालमा रहनुभएका परिवारका सदस्यहरूले त्यहीँ हिन्दु धार्मिक संस्कार विधिहरु सम्पन्न गर्नु हुनेछ । उहाँकी छोरी श्रीमती सबित्रा बराल र ज्वाइँ श्री कपिल बरालले यहाँ भर्मन्टमा परम्परागत धार्मिक संस्कार बिधिहरु सम्पन्न गर्ने हुनेछन् ।

It is with profound sadness that the Vermont Hindu Temple shares the news of the passing of Mrs. Menuka Niroula, beloved mother of Sabitra Baral and mother-in-law of Kapil Baral, who passed away today, September 15, 2026, in Nepal.

Mrs. Menuka Niroula had been residing with her sons and family in Dhaijan, Jhapa, Nepal. In accordance with Hindu traditions, the family members residing in Nepal will observe the mourning rituals there. Her daughter, Sabitra Baral, and son-in-law, Kapil Baral, will observe the traditional mourning rituals here in Vermont.

During this difficult and sorrowful time, the Vermont Hindu Temple respectfully requests members of our community to extend their heartfelt condolences, prayers, and support to the bereaved family in Vermont.

The Vermont Hindu Temple extends its deepest condolences to the Bhattarai family on the passing of Late Damber Kumari Bhattarai, who resided in Dulabari, Jhapa, Nepal.

Late Damber Kumari Bhattarai, who had been living in Nepal with her youngest son, passed away on September 12, 2026. She was the beloved mother of Prajapati Bhattarai and mother-in-law of Maya Devi Bhattarai, who reside in Essex Junction, Vermont.

The family in Vermont will be observing the mourning rituals at their residence in Essex Junction.

At this difficult time of grief, the Vermont Hindu Temple offers its heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathy to the entire Bhattarai family. May the departed soul attain Moksha and eternal peace, and may God give the family strength, courage, and peace to bear this profound loss.

VT Hindu Temple को तर्फबाट समुदायमा हार्दिक अनुरोध

अत्यन्त दुःखका साथ भर्मन्ट हिन्दू मन्दिरले समुदायमा यो जानकारी साझा गर्दछ कि हर्क बहादुर नेपाल, श्री प्रताप नेपालका पिता तथा श्रीमती मेनुका तिवारीका ससुरा, नेपाल, मोरङ जिल्लाको पथरी निवासी हुनुहुन्थ्यो। उहाँ विगत ३२ वर्षदेखि बेपत्ता हुनुहुन्थ्यो र हालै नेपालमा रहेका परिवारका सदस्यहरूले भर्मन्टमा बसोबास गरि रहेका परिवारलाई उहाँ अब जीवित रहनु भएको छैन भन्ने जानकारी गराउँदै, उहाँको हिन्दू परम्परा अनुसार मृत्यु संस्कार तथा अन्त्येष्टि क्रिया सुरु गर्न अनुरोध गरेका छन्।

Community Announcement from VT Hindu Temple

With deep sorrow, we share with the community that Harka Bahadur Nepal, father of Pratap Nepal and father-in-law of Menuka Tiwari, who was a resident of Pathri, Morang District, Nepal, has been missing for the past 32 years and was considered deceased by his family.

After more than three decades of uncertainty and grief, the family will now be observing the traditional Hindu death and mourning rituals, beginning September 10, 2026.

According to Hindu tradition, as the family has been unable to recover the physical remains, a symbolic representation of the deceased will be prepared using Kush (sacred grass). The family will then conduct the cremation ceremony at Ethan Allen Homestead near the river, in accordance with their religious traditions, on September 10th 2026, at 2:30 pm.

The family will observe the 13th-day rites at:
