Thank you to the YMSL Crystal Springs Chapter for having me speak yesterday at their first in-person meeting in over a year! ⭐️🙌 The room was full of motivated high school seniors, and we had a fantastic conversation about practical skills they can use to have a successful, low-stress senior year, especially with college application deadlines looming over the next 8 weeks. It’s all about knowing what’s ahead, creating a plan and sticking to it, and making space for the people and things that matter most. Wishing you all the best!

⭐️It’s the end of the year and this is your friendly reminder that the goal for this weekend is to look at your grade reports for each subject and see if you have any zeros. If you do, take care of them immediately (like NOW - this weekend). Do not, I repeat, DO NOT WAIT until the week before finals or the last week of school to address them. Why?

➡️The last thing a teacher wants at the very end of the semester is for the 100th person to come up to them and ask if they can still get credit for a missing assignment that was due over a month ago.
➡️Being a part of the "please fix my zeros at the last minute" mob will send said teacher into a boiling rage and not want to help you at all, and no good will come out of that. Communication is key so reach out, tell your teacher you’re on it, and turn those assignments in - you’ve got this!!

📬 The time has come! Many schools will release their acceptance decisions tomorrow, which is exciting, nerve-wracking, all. the. things! Stay calm & cool, get some sleep tonight, and remember that wherever you decide to go, they’ll be lucky to have you! 💕🌈🙌

➡️ Did you know Google Sheets has a to-do list template? You can simply type in what you have to do line by line, then keep the tab open on your computer. Check the box when you’re done with a task and watch it turn gray w/ a strike through (so satisfying!) 🙌 It always feels great to have your weekend to-do list planned out by Friday afternoon. This student used the iPad planner app to write down everything, and then they’ll cross each task off as they go.💡 How do you keep track of weekend work and personal commitments? Drop a tip in the comments!

You can, and SHOULD!, make time for both what you ➡️HAVE to do and what you ➡️WANT to do. What do you want and what needs to happen for it to become a reality? Make a plan, allocate time to make it happen, and just follow the schedule. You can do anything! 🙌
