Burlingame Martial Arts (previously located in Millbrae at 30 Rollins Rd) has been in existence since 2014, serving the community while providing martial arts training, self-defense lessons, life skills/leadership training, team-building/health and wellness workshops. With over 1700 square feet of practice area, the school was specially desi

gned and built by KJN Dong for martial arts practice as well as advanced acrobatics, climbing, parkour, free-running, and cross-fitting activities. Facility is family-friendly with a comfortable waiting area and private parking lot with ample spaces. Master (Kwan Jang Nim) Dong Nguyen, is a 5th Degree Black Belt in the art of Kuk Sool and has been practicing for nearly 30 years under the instruction of Master Sung Jin Suh. KJN Dong has trained students of all ages throughout the Bay Area for over the last decade. He has been honored with the Grand Champion Award and earned gold medals in tournaments across the world. Along with his passion for martial arts, he has been educating youth for over 25 years. He has worked as a counselor and program director in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco to help inner-city youth and also toured with Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre Programs, performing health education shows across Northern California. Today, he performs college and life planning lectures for Alpha Kappa Psi, a Business Fraternity he served on the Chapter Advisory Board for 5 years. He currently holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and works as a Registered Professional Engineer with experience in business optimization, property management and land development.
