Dear BHS Community,
We have some exciting updates to share in regards to the big Construction project in front of our school! First off, today, Tuesday, September 29th we will have no water in the building from 4:30-6:30pm so workers can complete a tie-in with the water main to our building.
Next, this Friday October 2nd, workers will begin paving Parke Avenue in front of our school. The plan is to pave from just south of our circle drive exit in front of the school, down to 16th street on the WEST half of Parke Avenue. With that, NO traffic will be allowed to drive on the new asphalt until 3pm on Friday. No cars will be able to come on campus from about 8am to 3pm on Friday, October 2nd. Please respect and follow this request by Kloepfers so they can get our paving done.
On Monday, October 5th, starting first thing in the morning around 8am, Kloepfers will begin paving the EAST side of Parke Avenue from the same location, in front of the school North to 16th Street. With that, the only way to get to BHS on Monday will be driving south on Parke Ave from Main Street or 16th Street. There will be no other street access points on Monday. Traffic will be two way on the newly paved road (Fridays work). Please be cautious as there will be paving equipment and trucks around working to get our road completed. By the end of next Tuesday, Parke Ave should be opened from just south of our circle drive exit all the way to 16th. The rest of the project to the south, (by the dentist office), should be completed in the next 2-3 weeks and everything will be open!
Thank you for your patience throughout this important and necessary project. Please reach out to the school with any questions. GO BOBCATS!
