A meet-and-greet event for parents, students, and staff will be held at Norwood Environmental Science Academy on Thursday, June 11, from 4:30-6:00 p.m.

BISD announces Jessica Langston as principal of Norwood Environmental Science Academy. Langston brings 17 years of elementary education experience to her new role, with expertise in instructional leadership, campus administration, and a collaborative approach to supporting students, staff, and families. Congratulations to our May Staff Members and Students of the Month! 🏆💚☀️

Ten 5th graders were selected to represent Norwood in this district-wide performance with the Burleson ISD All-City 5th Grade Honor Choir.

They celebrated with pizza, new friends, and hard work all afternoon! They rehearsed six pieces as a choir and performed to a packed venue full of families at the First United Methodist Church. 💚🎶🎤

No registration required! BISD is providing FREE breakfast and lunch to children 18 and younger May 26- June 26th.

Beginning May 26 through June 26, children 18 years and younger can enjoy FREE breakfast and lunch at Taylor Elementary Cafeteria, Monday through Friday!

No registration required! Just stop by and enjoy nutritious meals all summer long!
