💚🖤🤍 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🤍🖤💚

We are so excited to celebrate and recognize Norwood and an anonymous parent for their generous $500 scholarship donation! 🎓

Because of their kindness and generosity, a Past Senior Viking will receive a $500 scholarship to help support their next chapter. We are so grateful for the continued support of our Viking community and for those who go above and beyond to invest in our students and their futures. 🥹

Thank you, Norwood and our anonymous parent, for making a difference and helping our Vikings continue to soar! 🐺💚

Norwood Firsties participated in a hands-on nutrition unit that connected classroom learning to meaningful real-world experiences. During this unit, students explored healthy food choices, food groups, and how nutrition impacts our bodies. They visited the Norwood Food Pantry and participated in a food group scavenger hunt. They took a tour of the Norwood Café kitchen, surveyed older grades about their favorite healthy lunch choices, and collaborated with our cafeteria staff to plan a healthy lunch menu that will be served on September 24th. Heather Aikman, Best Chef in Johnson County 2025, was a special guest speaker, sharing how to plan a healthy meal. They wrapped up their learning with a healthy food group taste test.

Just like the little dot in The Dot, every student has something special to share with the world. We encourage our Vikings to “make their mark”—try something new, be creative, and believe in what they can do! 💚

Let’s see all the amazing marks our Vikings make today!
