Not sure if anyone can still see my posts here, but just wanted to say how much I still think about you all and your sweet kids! I saw one of my "babies" from Brock today. He was about a foot taller and so mature. If you see this, please hug my kids and tell them I still love and care about them! I am happy with my new school....but Brock will always have a big part of my heart!

Ahhhh man. Facebook won't let me change the name of this page for my new school. I'll delete it soon! I will post the link or invite y'all over to my new page so we can stay in touch. I'll also be posting events/articles and good stuff again this year you may want to know about :) Love you all and give your kiddos BIG BIG HUGS from me!

First United Methodist Church in Burleson is sponsoring a School Uniform Bash on Saturday, August 11, 9 am - 12 pm.....bounce houses, popcorn, face painting, ice cream sundaes......come and bring your old school uniforms and they will exhange for uniforms that fit for the coming school year. Call the church for more details.....and spread the word.

Hey Everyone! Just wanted to say I hope you're all having a great summer! As you enjoy your time with your children and soaking in the sun, I CANNOT STRESS how important it is that you also remember to keep reading as often as possible. As state standards increase your children will be expected to perform on higher levels and reading is the foundation of that. Dillyn is reading 100 books to get a prize at home :) She's on book 68. I think she'll pass her goal!

I saw this today and it could be my new favorite quote! What an amazing blessing it is to be a mom, and I get to share in so many more children's lives as a teacher!

Hey everyone!!! Hope you're enjoying your summer!!! I saw that HEB is doing a Summer Reading program. They have reading logs by the little machine where you get your buddy bucks traded for points. All you have to do is read 10 books and mail in the log and they will mail your child a free t-shirt! :) Dillyn is excited to get her shirt and I knew your kids would be too!

Dear Parents,
I give you back your child, the same child you confidently entrusted to my care last fall.
I give him back pounds heavier, inches taller, months wiser, more responsible, and more mature then he was then.
Although he would have attained his growth in spite of me, it has been my pleasure and privilege to watch his personality unfold day by day and marvel at this splendid miracle of development.
I give him back reluctantly, for having spent nine months together in the narrow confines of a crowded classroom, we have grown close, have become a part of each other, and we shall always retain a little of each other.

Ah! I can't believe tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Where did the time go? We are SO proud of the kids and all they have accomplished this year!!
Tomorrow is FREE DRESS DAY!:) Awards will be in the classroom at 10am, pizza party to follow provided by PTO! :) Thanks PTO! Hope to see y'all tomorrow at 10am!:)

spent the weekend packing up my classroom and it hit me that I'm not gonna see your kids sweet faces after summer break! Please keep emailing me and stay in contact! Once they're in my class, they'll always be my kids! I'll always be interested in what and how they're doing! My email will stay the same and you can also find me on my personal fb page too :) I'd love to stay in touch so I can see your kids grow!

Got to hang out with Mrs. Hammons and baby Max today!!:)

We have been collecting the words they have learned from their purple folders since spring break... And we counted them all today... 193!! Almost 200!!!! They were SO excited!!!!! I am SO proud of them!!! Yay!!! You're kids rock!! They have all been working so hard! We are all very proud of them!
