What a season. ❤️🖤

From the first pitch to the final out, this team gave Burleson something to be proud of every single step of the way. The Elks battled until the end, coming up short against Wylie 14-4, but this season was about so much more than one game. It was about grit, brotherhood, growth, memories, and a group of young men who represented Burleson with heart all year long.

We watched big moments, celebrated huge wins, and made memories that this team, these families, and this community won’t forget. To our players, coaches, and seniors — thank you for an unforgettable ride. We couldn’t be prouder of all you accomplished this season. Job well done, Elks.

𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐃. 👊🔥

The Elks answered back in Game 2 with a gritty 5-3 win over Wylie to even the Regional Semi series at 1-1.

Big performances from the bottom of the lineup fueled the offense as Cade McNeely, Gage Grisham, and Nate Green combined for six hits, three runs, and three RBIs. Burleson piled up 11 hits on the day, with McNeely, Gavin Lustgarten, Landon Smith, Grisham, and Green each collecting multiple hits.

Ty Freeman went the distance on the mound, battling through all seven innings while striking out six to secure the win. The Bulldogs made a late push, but the Elks shut the door.

Winner takes all, next game begins in 30 minutes.

Not the result the Elks wanted in Game 1, but there was no quit in Burleson.

The Elks battled back in the 4th inning, taking the lead behind big RBI hits from Xavi Medina and Ty Freeman. Freeman finished the night 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs as Burleson showed fight throughout the matchup.

Wylie answered late and pulled away to secure the 11-4 final.
