Hello! My name is Heather Bybee, and I am so excited to be joining the Frazier Elementary family!

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and have been teaching for 12 years. Over the years, I’ve loved helping students grow in both confidence and academics while creating a classroom environment where everyone feels safe, encouraged, and excited to learn each day.

When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me spending time with my family and friends, reading, or walking my dog. I cannot wait to meet my new students and families and begin an amazing school year together!

Congratulations to our two Perfect Attendance winners for the school year, Nayome (5th grade) and Sawyer (3rd grade). These students showed incredible dedication and commitment by being present every minute of every school day. Their hard work, responsibility, and perseverance did not go unnoticed. As a reward for their outstanding attendance, JD Cashion with Horace Mann, donated a bike to each student. We are so proud of their achievement and the example they set for others!

We are so proud of our National Math Star nominees! This distinction honors students who rank in the top 2% nationally in math achievement. These Frazier Bears qualified for this nomination because of their exceptional performance on the Math MAP assessment and the quantitative portion of the Naglieri General Abilities Test, scoring in the 98th percentile and above.
