🍁 You can tell when a woman spends a lot of time in a beauty and fashion world because it is quite visible on her. She is being shaped by what she spends time with. ⠀
⠀
🍁 You can tell when a woman spends a lot of time in essential oil discussions because it visible, and you hear about it, and you probably smell it too. ⠀
⠀
🍁 You can tell when someone is spending a lot of time in the world of enneagrams or similar personality studies. Why? Because it is usually right out there on the surface - they mention their wings or they laugh at something because you must be a 5. It is apparent how they have been spending their time.⠀
⠀
🍁 What about this glorious comment in Acts 4. “They realized that they had been with Jesus” - because of their boldness and the fact that they were not trained for bold speaking by their education. This was the Holy Spirit making it clear that Peter and John had been with Jesus.⠀
⠀
🍁 Could people NOW tell that WE have been with Jesus? That we pray? That we read our Bibles? That we believe? That we trust Him in trials? That we rely on His grace? YES. It is a visible thing, just not a popular one.⠀
⠀
🍁 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”⠀
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22 nkjv⠀
⠀
🍁 Think about this! The fruit of the Spirit is visible. We should be walking in it. It should be evident to others that we aren’t envious even though our culture trains for envy. Because we have love (when in our flesh we would not). We have joy ( even when we are not in happy circumstances). We have self control and faithfulness and goodness and gentleness- and we have all of those things against all odds.⠀
⠀
🍁 There is only one way to have the fruit of the Spirit and it is through the Spirit. The one way to have it is TO BE WITH JESUS.⠀

🍁The world needs this testimony!

When I step onto my mat,

When I step onto my mat, it is not with the intention of becoming one with the universe!
•
I am already one with the creator of the universe!
•
It is not with the intention of offering myself up as a living sacrifice to a foreign deity.
•
The sacrifice has been made.
•
When I step onto my mat it is with the intention of re-connecting with myself & my creator.
•
It is with the intention, for however the length of time I spend stretching, twisting, posturing, & praying, to realign with Him in body, mind, & soul.
•
When I step into my mat, it is with the intention of slowing down & listening to my body, its ebbs, tides & the voice of the Holy Spirit whispering in my ears.
•
It is with the intention of doing something really nourishing for my physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
•
This time of introspection I put aside for Him & I.
•
It doesn’t tempt me to empty my mind...it fills it with meditations on His word.
•
It fills my heart & soul with gratitude and praise for my God & creator, Lord Jesus.
•
When I step onto my mat, I am reminded that I am fearfully & wonderfully made.
•
When I step onto my mat I am reminded that I am a Woman of God, I am worthy, I am loved & I am made whole.
•
When I step onto my mat ....
I AM STRENGTHENING THE BODY OF CHRIST!
