Music with Mrs. Brewer

Second grade is having so much fun this morning playing tic tac toe with rhythms! We’ve been working hard and learning about sounds & silences the past few weeks 🎵

Congratulations to our AMP’T leaders of the month! Tyler & Hollis always begin with the end in mind and exhibit this leadership to their classmates. So proud of them!

5th grade escaped from our music escape room today! We learned all about JS Bach and his life, where he was from, his era of music, and other fun facts. We even listened to his song “Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor,” which is a perfect musical piece for this time of year 🎃

2nd grade today getting hands on and creative with rhythms!

These 4th & 5th grade classes met their six weeks goal in music, so they got to choose their reward. They chose a day outside! It ended up being perfect weather and they had so much fun celebrating their hard work!

Today the 3rd & 4th grade students got to participate in music centers! We used math to figure out composers’ ages, wrote about what kind of music we would create if we were composers, then got to conduct like a conductor!
