The PTA gave ice pops and ice cream to our amazing Bus Drivers on Bus Driver Appreciation Day this past Tuesday!

Burke School received a $2,000 grant from Educate Fairfax for Sensory Needs Materials. With this grant we were able to purchase: 3 new classroom rugs, body socks, play dough, chewy necklaces, vibration exercise pad, washable crash pads, bean bags, light covers and noise cancelling headphones. All of these items are already being loved by our students!! Huge thank you to Educate Fairfax for making this all possible🐻💚💙

Just a recap of our Bubble Dash—it was a huge success and the perfect way to kick off a Saturday morning! We had an amazing turnout of staff, students, parents, and families all coming together to support our school. Participants ran a mile and then enjoyed cotton candy, popcorn, and lawn games while we wrapped up with raffle drawings and gift card winners.

We want to give a huge thank you to the Card my Yard here in Burke, who made our wonderful sign for the event!!!
