We hope you and your families are enjoying this last weekend of summer break and that your kiddos are getting excited for school on Monday!

Let’s face it…the first week of school is exhausting! Sleeping schedules are off, kids are tired and cranky, parents are tired and cranky, etc. Take some of the pressure off yourself and pick up some Chick-fil-a this week. You don’t have to cook and TCES gets a kickback off ALL sales where this flyer is shown or mentioned…ALL WEEK LONG! Share with your friends and neighbors so they can support our school, too!

Attention Kindergarten families! Don't forget to stop by the TC playground TODAY for popsicles! This is a great opportunity for your little one to meet teachers and staff, make some new friends AND enjoy a popsicle treat! We are so excited to meet you and to welcome all of our new Kindergarteners to Terra Centre 😊

Our friends at iCode Burke are cooking up some cool stuff for the upcoming school year to include before & after care, clubs, robotics competitions and more! If you're free on August 22nd, come check out their Open House...it's going to be a lot of fun 😊 All are welcome! Register beforehand and receive a free gift!

We are officially 4 weeks away from the start of the new school year…have you purchased school supplies yet?!

As a reminder, TCES is not offering EduKits this year, due to the fact that in recent years we received too many damaged kits, causing a lot of wasted time and effort on our end. While we recognize the convenience it brought to many of you, logistically and financially it just doesn’t make sense to continue purchasing them.

Grade level supply lists can be found on the TCES website.

Hey Tiger families! Our local Cub Scout Pack is hosting an outdoor adventure event this Sunday (7/19) at the Conservancy. Cub Scouts is open to anyone in Kindergarten - 5th grade so if you have a kiddo who may be interested, this would be a really great opportunity for them to see what it’s all about! Come join the fun!

We hope you are finding some time to relax and unwind with your family and friends, same as this guy right here 🐯 If you know of any fun summer camps or classes with openings, or if you have the skinny on any upcoming festivals or family-friendly events, drop a comment below! Our PTA Board is turning over a few seats to some new folks and we’re working with the admin team to get some fun and exciting events on the calendar for the upcoming school year!
