Preschool Teacher wanted for the 2026 – 2027 school year at Spring-Mar Cooperative Preschool

Do you enjoy involving parents in your teaching and classroom?

Spring-Mar is a seeking part-time teacher for the following positions:

- 2 days/week
- 2-3 year olds

Working hours are 8:45 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tues & Thurs

Candidates should be flexible, organized, and enjoy working as part of a team. Experience in early childhood education is preferred.

These are great opportunities to work in an environment that fosters caring, collaboration, and creativity.

"What's your fav room/classroom at Spring-Mar?" "Art room!"

We hear this a lot, from many! And it truly is because of Ms. Patti! 🎨

All the kids from all classes come to the art room and Ms. Patti does absolute wonders from day one - starting from remembering each and every one of their names perfectly, to trusting them with their choices at a given time (there are so many playful options!) and gently encouraging them to explore.

This Spring, Spring-Mar has celebrated our beloved Ms. Patti's 20th anniversary teaching!

This post does NOT capture all the fun and creativity she has been offering to the kids; it's just a little tribute to her with a few snaps from the celebration and some typical school days/events over the years.

"What do you love about Ms. Patti?" "She said I can make as much mess as I like in her classroom. In fact, she WANTS me to make messes!!" This never gets old, and it keeps on repeating every year on the first individual meet and greet day between Ms. Patti & the new students. She is also a truly caring aide.

Thank you and we love you, Ms. Patti! ❤️❤️

Also, thanks to everyone that sent the pictures "through the years". Ms. Patti loved reminiscing & watching the special slideshow at the luncheon.

Lastly, a BIG thank you to Mrs. Cooper - the quilt that Ms. Patti is holding in the picture is actually made by Mrs. Cooper, who is a master quilter. We made fabric handprints of all the kids that she used for the quilt. Could the gift be any more special?! Now wait for a special tribute post for Mrs. Cooper - coming soon! 🎉

Our graduating "Inventors" classes had a field trip on a beautiful Spring day at the farm!

Wagon ride as a group that included their teachers, interactions with animals, watching the peacock spread its breathtaking tail feathers, and "milking" the cows were just some of the fun and educational activities of that day full of excitement and all smiles! We will miss our Inventors next year for sure! 💙

As we head into the final weeks of the school year, we are looking forward to our exciting end-of-year celebration and fun summer playdates with our school community. It has been such a wonderful year filled with growth, learning, and special memories. This will be our final newsletter of the 2025-2026 school year, and we hope all of our families have a relaxing and joyful summer. We can’t wait to see everyone again in September!

Our "Pioneers" met at this playground in August last year and went back again this week. What a difference the 9 months of school has made! The majority were "new friends" to each other at that time and were to be joining a "school setting" for the first time. Some, if not all parents seemed anxious to some extent.

9 months or so later ...

We met here again for an end-of-year "rainy" playdate. ☔👢Kids had a blast running and following each other stepping on the rocks, with sticks on their hands. Curiosity to explore and holding the bugs took over. Muddy messes were enjoyed with lots of laughter. One of them even found a sleeping frog under a rock! No play structures were needed! Our parents seemed much less anxious - in fact, everyone seemed confident that next year will be a lot of fun! 😍

Our annual Glow N Show was pure magic ✨
The classrooms glowed, the art shined, and our students were so proud to show off all of their creativity and hard work. We loved celebrating this special evening with all of our amazing families 💛
