We are thrilled to unveil our brand-new Outdoor Classroom! This incredible space was made possible through community collaboration and a lot of hard work. Thank you Aric Peters for your leadership, Eagle Scout Troop 1345, and GREENTREE, for collaborating with our Get2Green team leaders and admin to make this available for our White Oaks students. Studies show that learning in nature boosts creativity and focus. Our students were excited to use it right away!
Brook Trout have experienced localized decline, so members from our White Oaks Get2Green team raised 44 fish to help populate the creek by Elizabeth Furnace in George Washington National Forest.
What. A. Game! The gym was absolutely electric last night as our 6th graders took on the staff in our annual showdown. While the scoreboard might show a win for the teachers, the real story was the incredible heart and hustle shown by our students from the first tip-off to the final buzzer.

The sun was shining, the energy was high, and the White Oaks community definitely showed up today ready to move at our Eagle Trot. Thank you to our PTA, our dedicated volunteers, and Dr. Reid for championing healthy habits and fostering such a vibrant community spirit!
Our White Oaks eagles were excited to perform the National Anthem at the George Mason Men’s Basketball game today. Let’s go GREEN!

All activities in schools and on school grounds are canceled Monday, February 23, 2026. This includes all classes, extracurricular activities, homebound instruction, and SACC.
And the votes are in… The majority of students used their canned donation to vote for the Seahawks to win the Soup-er bowl! ❤️
