Good morning, FFA was asked to help park cars at the Burke Stampede rodeo this weekend. We are looking for 3-5 volunteers each night to help from 5:30-8. Please let Mrs. Andrews know if you can help out, thanks!

We really enjoyed this hidden gem in downtown Rapid!

We had the pleasure of meeting a fine group of high school FFA students yesterday.

Our club president answered questions and talked about the history of our organization while everyone explored the miniature world.

The FFA is a great organization that has so many opportunities available. We were happy to host a group of up and coming young adults.
Best wishes on all of your endeavors now, and after graduation!

A big thanks goes out to the South Dakota Stockgrowers Association for bringing them down for a visit.

Our new officer team took a trip to Rapid City for our annual officer retreat, to set goals and plan for the upcoming FFA year. We had a great time and appreciate everyone that took time to visit with us. We will be excited to hit the ground running when school starts in August.

Gregory county sent 6 FFA members to West River Leadership retreat at Storm Mountain in Rapid City. They went out Monday evening and returned today after a full week of activities. They all had a great time with some of the highlights being early morning activities, Mount Rushmore, singing and dancing, games on the green, and getting to know the SD state officers. Students that went were Naomi Hanson, Lacy Peck, Charissa Ring, Ben Stevicks, Joseph Stevicks and Taylor Zeisler.

Congratulations to Tyler Kenzy for winning the Fed Cattle Challenge!
Tyler participated through the Animal Science class in Gregory and was notified that he was a finalist. He and his family were invited to the Prime Time Gala, where they found out he won in the team division for Gregory County FFA.
We all were able to enjoy a nice supper and a concert with Elizabeth Jo, Muscadine Bloodline, and Dierks Bentley.

We are planting the Bob Sperl Memorial test plot tomorrow 5/28 at the field East of Gregory at 10 am. We need members to come help load/unload seed. Please let Mrs. Andrews know if you are available to come help!

We are inviting everyone to a free dance on Thursday May 14th at Carlock from 8:45-10:45 pm. This will be held AFTER our banquet, and a way to continue celebrating our achievements this year. Everyone is welcome, if you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Andrews. See you there!
