🚨🐷 IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL SWINE EXHIBITORS & PARENTS! 🐷🚨

Message from Zach Ward, Pig Superintendent:

There is a NEW REQUIRED FORM for this show season that ALL swine exhibitors MUST complete!

⚠️ This form MUST be filled out before I can submit your student's swine validation paperwork! If the form is not completed, I cannot move forward with submitting their validation.

📅 DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 10TH!

Please do not wait until the last minute! I need EVERY pig exhibitor to have this completed BEFORE November 10th so we can ensure everyone's validation is submitted on time.

🔨 **A Little Bit of an Odd Request!** 🔨

We have a slightly unusual request, but you never know unless you ask! 😂

Is anyone remodeling their kitchen, bathroom, garage, or really any part of their home and planning to get rid of their old cabinets?

If those cabinets are still in decent shape and you're looking to get them out of your way, **Burkburnett FFA would LOVE to take them off your hands!** 🧡🖤

We are looking for cabinets that we can repurpose and put to good use in our **FFA Show Barn**! They don't have to be brand new or perfect, just sturdy and in usable condition. A little wear and tear doesn't scare us!

Rather than seeing perfectly good cabinets end up in the dumpster, we would love the opportunity to give them a second life while making improvements to our facilities for our FFA students!

❤️ **If you have any cabinets you would be willing to donate, please reach out to me!** Pictures would be greatly appreciated so we can see what you have.

And if you don't have any, a quick share might help us find someone who does!

Another day of Ag Practicum for senior Kaisyn Bergin! 🐷🧡🖤

Kaisyn is putting her animal science knowledge to work by helping with hands-on swine care. Experiences like these give students opportunities to learn about animal health, livestock handling, and the teamwork that goes into caring for their projects.

Ag Practicum means stepping in, getting involved, and learning by doing—even when the classroom happens to be a tailgate! 💪

Proud of our students for continuing to build skills they can carry beyond high school!

🚨 BARN CLEAN-UP UPDATE 🚨

Barn Clean-Up has been moved to SUNDAY ONLY from 11:00 AM–2:30 PM.
We need ALL HANDS ON DECK so we can work together, get everything done, and hopefully get finished quicker! We will be doing a deep clean of the entire facility, including the bathrooms, office, concession stand, barn areas, and getting the arena put together and ready.

Everyone in this group currently has an animal housed at the school farm. Every year, we seem to have more people who do not house animals at the farm show up to help than those who actually use the facility. We really need that to be different this year.

We are expecting all 25 families to be there and help. This facility takes everyone working together to keep it clean, organized, and ready for our students and events. Please, please make plans to be there!
If you have already spoken with me or Ms. Graham about not being able to attend, you are taken care of and do not need to worry.
