Students in Mrs. Johnston’s 4th grade Math Classroom have been working on place value and comparing and ordering whole numbers up to the hundred millions. What better way to practice than through a game of “Can you Beat the Teacher?” Students practiced their skills along with working on strategies to beat their opponent and their teacher.

This week, Ms. Stewart's class has been learning about the three states of matter: solids, liquids, and gases. We wrapped up our learning with a hands-on balloon experiment that allowed students to see and experience these concepts in action. 🎈🧪

Our students had fun making predictions, exploring the materials, and working together while putting their science learning into practice!

3rd grade students in social studies tried to complete a building task while having to follow only a certain team’s rules! We learned how frustrating it is when we are forced to follow the beliefs and rules of a group we don’t “believe” in. This helped us understand how people felt when they weren’t allowed to worship how they wanted, and why we now have the freedom of religion!
