I had just returned from my drive to Portland, where I spent the night and got up early to take my god sister to day surgery this morning... after bringing her back home tucking her in bed I immediately began driving back to Washington... I was super tired when I got home tonight, but seriously happy that my good friend Kevin Cook's first book was waiting for me at the mailbox 'Chronicles of Cook', Once upon a Time on Western of what I'm sure will be many more volumes and stories to come ... So after getting dinner in me, showering and shaving and getting into bed... I had my jumbo bag of habanero potato chips and salted peanuts still in the shell, I was all ready to begin reading my good friend's book... I have to admit, it's been years since I've read a book cover to cover, ( that was back in my repeat trips to the penitentiary days or I had time to spend on a book)... Most schools, courses, and test that I've taken only require that I read the basics and stay focused on the main points... But, I wanted to respect my friend Kevin Cook wishes for me to be a tough credit when I did get the chance read his book... So I didn't want to waste any time, but when I opened up his book to read it from cover to cover, I was shocked to see that right there in the acknowledgments I see my name written as one of those who gave him a push to keep riding his story!!! I lose it and go crazy !!!Kevin cook, I honor you sir, thank you... Although forgive me cook I got so excited I wanted to post this so now I'm too tired to read another word of your book... I'll pick it up tomorrow, thanks again for acknowledging me my brother... I honor you... P. S.
