Day 3 of Kindergarten Jump Start was a total success at Hazel Valley Elementary! 🐝Our little Hornets settled into daily routines, made new friends, and were assigned their kindergarten teachers!

Seeing their confidence take flight, with braver smiles and easier "see you laters", was the highlight of the week.

We can’t wait to welcome our Hornets back on September 9 as they soar into kindergarten with Hazel Valley pride. 🖤💛

¡El Día 3 de Jump Start de Kindergarten fue un éxito total en Hazel Valley Elementary! 🐝✨

Nuestros pequeños Hornets aprendieron sobre sus rutinas diarias, hicieron nuevas amistades y finalmente fueron asignados a sus maestras oficiales de kindergarten.

Ver cómo su confianza comenzaba a tomar vuelo, con sonrisas más valientes y “hasta luego” más fáciles, fue lo mejor de nuestra semana.

No podemos esperar para ver a nuestros Hornets de regreso el 9 de septiembre, listos para despegar en kindergarten con orgullo de Hazel Valley. 🖤💛

🐝Day 2 of Kindergarten Jump Start was full of excitement and growth at Hazel Valley Elementary! Students continued building new school routines, learning their student numbers, and discovering what it feels like to be part of a big, caring community.

Tomorrow is our last day of Jump Start, 8:45am–11:45am. We can’t wait to see all the excited Hornets.
🐝¡El Día 2 de Jump Start de Kindergarten estuvo lleno de emoción y crecimiento en Hazel Valley Elementary! Los estudiantes siguieron creando nuevas rutinas escolares, aprendiendo sus números de estudiante y descubriendo lo que se siente ser parte de una comunidad grande y cariñosa.

Mañana es nuestro último día de Jump Start, de 8:45am a 11:45am. No podemos esperar para ver a todos nuestros Hornets emocionados.

🐝Our newest members of the Hazel Valley community began their soft launch into elementary school today, and we couldn’t be more excited. The building felt alive, staff were thrilled to welcome new faces, and seeing all the students step bravely into their first moments of school life.

If you missed today, we’d love to see your incoming kindergartner tomorrow and Friday 8:45am-11:45am so your student can meet their teachers, connect with school staff, and start feeling right at home at Hazel Valley Elementary.

For Bree and me (Kimberlie) , the highlight was meeting all of you and cheering on our own kindergarteners as they begin this beautiful new chapter.


🐝Hoy, los nuevos miembros de nuestra comunidad de Hazel Valley Elementary comenzaron su lanzamiento suave hacia la escuela primaria, y no podríamos estar más emocionados. La escuela se sintió llena de vida, el personal estaba feliz de ver tantas caritas nuevas, y nuestros pequeños dieron sus primeros pasos con valentía.

Si te perdiste el Día 1, nos encantaría verte mañana y el viernes para que tu estudiante pueda conocer a sus maestros, al personal escolar y empezar a sentirse en casa en Hazel Valley.

We'll have it all laid out Friday too!! Then at La Kermés it will be free for anyone to take anything they like before it is all donated! (I found 3 of my kids items today! 😅)
