BUTTER
Male, 18+ to play 17, any ethnicity. 250 - 350+ lbs. This high school student struggles with finding a place, finding his voice, finding visibility in the image and status obsessed world of high school. Butter is the nickname given to him by one of his many high school bullies and it’s the only name he goes by. After years of struggling with his weight, feeling the disappointment of his athletic father, his fear of ridicule that keeps him from sharing his musical talent with the world - Butter makes the decision to end his life and uses social media to amplify his plea for help.
