🕸️Fascia networks span throughout the body and create specific muscular chains from head to toe. Here’s are the chains based on Thomas Myers movement ideologies:
✨The superficial front line
✨The superficial back line
✨The Lateral line
✨The Spiral line
✨The arm line (right arm and left arm)
✨The deep front line

Ok so what does this mean????

🤓Think about the freeway system in Los Angeles. All of these freeways: the 101, the 405, the 134, the 10 and the 2 (to name a few) Are all supposed to connect fluidly together to allow easy transportation and passage of all Angelinos throughout LA. Most of these freeways are overcrowded, overstressed, have weak points or perhaps are underutilized because of traffic patterns.
If there is an accident on the 101 during rush-hour often times this means the 405 will also be backed up.

🧐The body in many ways is no different. We are not just bones and muscles and joints pushing or pulling or hinging or rotating or squeezing or lengthening, as we move through space. We are an interconnected system. The fascia is these roadways. The muscles and joints are embedded within all these different roadways and training movement that takes these facial connections into consideration, will not only allow you to excel in the gym, but promote pain-free movement in your daily life, maintain your overall health and move well as you age.

👀You do not need to give up traditional strength training, yoga or any other practice you enjoy but incorporating how fascia actually works and exploring that within your own body to uncover limitations and strengths will allow you to move much better for longer.
