තර්ස්ටන් විද්‍යාලයේ හිටපු ක්‍රිකට් පුහුණුකරුවකු වන හා විද්‍යාලයේ හිටපු පළමු පෙළ ක්‍රිකට් නායක වන වරුණ සමරසිංහ මහතාගේ ආදරණීය පියාණන් වන සමරසිංහ මහතා අභාවප්‍රාප්ත වි ඇති බව පවුලේ සාමාජිකයන් දැනුම් දී තිබේ. සමරසිංහ මහතාගේ පවුලේ සාමාජිකයින්ට සහ මිතුරන්ට අපගේ බලවත් කණගාටුව සහ ශෝකය ප්‍රකාශ කරන අතර ඔහු නිබ්බානාහි උත්තරීතර සැප සම්පත් අත් කර ගනිත්වා යැයි පාර්ථනා කරමි!
