To our community of collegues and friends,
The time is NOW to support the passage of a post-production tax incentive bill (AB-2319) through the California Legislature.
We are proud to be working alongside Assemblyman Nick Schultz, who has been championing this bill with his team for our post production community. We have successfully passed two committee hurdles, but our biggest challenges still lie ahead.
With the support of a dedicated lobbyist, economist and PR firm we are building a strong case, but we cannot do this without you.
We thank our friends at the AFM Local 47, IASTE Local 700, and SAG for recognizing the important of this bill, and their support in getting this bill passed.
We ask you to stand with the California Post Alliance (CAPA) and help bring scoring, mixing, and the many vital post-production art forms back to our great state of California. This bill seeks to allocate $100 million yearly to incentivize and revitalize our struggling industry.
Your membership will play a vital role in supporting these efforts. It will benefit not only you, but the entire creative community we all call home.
