“I have not walked every mile of it well. I know that.”
“Not only in words, but in the way I stay, serve, and choose you.”
“I am still choosing you.” ❤️

These words from my husband’s letter stayed with me. There’s something powerful about acknowledging where you’ve fallen short while choosing to show up differently.

In this season of change, I’ve been reflecting on this question: What are we releasing so we can embrace what God has for our marriage?

Sometimes we need to release pride, defensiveness, unspoken expectations, or the need to win every disagreement. And embrace accountability, honest conversations, forgiveness, and intentional time together.

Wheew… that can require some work on BOTH sides! Prayer has carried us, and we’ve also had to learn, grow, and put action behind our words. We’re still choosing each other. ❤️

Love Infinity grew out of our own journey—the hard seasons, the growth, and our belief that a marriage can come through a storm and still be a place of love.

But seriously—don’t y’all ladies OR men get in that circle and start talking mess about your spouse! You’ve got to use discernment because everybody listening to your marriage problems isn’t praying for you…some are preying on you. 👀

If they can’t pray over your marriage, encourage healthy communication, and point you back toward your spouse—keep ya beaks closed! 🤐🐔

Every marriage needs a safe circle, but make sure your circle:

🙏🏽 Prays with you instead of gossiping about you
❤️ Wants your marriage to heal—not fail
🗣️ Encourages honest conversations with your spouse
🪞 Holds you accountable for your part too
🔒 Knows how to keep private matters private

Your friends should provide support—not am******on. And when you need deeper guidance, seek a trusted marriage coach, pastor, or licensed counselor who is equipped to help.

Protect your marriage. Guard your conversations. Choose your circle wisely.

❤️ OK PEEPS…WHAT’S YOUR “THING”?

What’s that one thing you always do for your spouse that may seem small, but it’s really another way of saying, “I love you. I see you. You matter to me.”

I’ll start… COOK! 😂

Now, I know we both cook, but me? I’m always looking for something new to make—something special that’s fit for a king! 👑 And even when it’s not a new recipe, it’s going to be made with love, a little silliness, and probably me doing the absolute MOST. 😂

His plate is always made first and plated with “perfection”—like picture-ready perfection. 😂 And yes, I will absolutely pick a dish that fits the mood of the meal. Because apparently, that matters in my world. 🤷🏾‍♀️😂❤️

It’s one of my little ways of saying, “I love you.”

And speaking of dishes…

👀 Y’all aren’t still saving the “good plates” for a special day, are you?!

Because listen—every day you get to wake up next to the person you love IS a special day. Use the plates. Light the candle. Make the coffee. Send the random text. Sit together for a few extra minutes. Do the little things while you have the opportunity to do them.

💍 LOVE INFINITY TIP: Don’t underestimate your spouse’s “little things.” Learn to recognize how THEY naturally show love—not just how you prefer to receive it.

And every now and then:
❤️ Ask, “What’s something I do that makes you feel loved?”
❤️ Notice the small acts and actually SAY thank you.
❤️ Switch it up and do something unexpected.
❤️ Stop waiting for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays to make your spouse feel special.

Y’all, over the weekend we took an impromptu trip to the beach, and it was exactly what we both needed! 🌊❤️

Getting away together is something we try to do often—even if it’s just a joyride along the country roads, enjoying a good meal, or stopping somewhere for ice cream. It doesn’t always have to be a big vacation or an expensive trip. Sometimes, you simply need a change of scenery and uninterrupted time with the person you love.

Quality time is so important, and as we get older, we’re realizing more and more just how much those moments should be treasured. Life moves quickly—make time to slow down, laugh together, reconnect, and create memories.
