We are big advocates of early intervention over here at Connect, and this past weekend, we were able to train nearly FIFTY clinicians in RTEP and GTEP! Led by the incomparable Reg Morrow Robinson, these EMDR clinicians learned the transformative power of EEI when practiced with fidelity. Reg Morrow Robinson is always exploring what’s next in EMDR Therapy, and we’re proud to have her expertise as part of the Connect team. This August, she’ll present at the EMDRIA Conference alongside Mara Tesler Stein and Lisa Kraml on using EMDR Group Therapy with perinatal trauma. Early intervention is crucial when a traumatic event occurs, and using EEI protocols like RTEP and GTEP can help bring clients back to their previous level of functioning much faster. If you work with first responders, medical professionals, other therapists, or military personnel, these protocols will help you serve your clients in a myriad of ways. If you work with anyone else, regardless of their job, these protocols can apply to your clinical work too. The utility of these protocols is multifaceted.
