We will soon announce this year's inductee to the Wall of Honor. Who goes on the Wall, and how do they get there?

WHO
Inductees are graduates of Bunker Hill High School who have longstanding careers and reputations of excellence, scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These attributes intentionally echo the pillars of the National Honor Society.

NOMINATION
Anyone can anonymously nominate an alum. All eligible nominations are forwarded to an independent selection committee.

SELECTION
An independent selection committee is convened with three representatives: (1) a Bunker Hill elected official or community organization officer, (2) a longtime or recently retired Bunker Hill teacher, and (3) someone already on the Wall. This anonymous committee scores the nominations with a rubric and recommends to the BHEF Board who should be inducted.

We have worked hard to remove bias from the process. We look forward to sharing the results with you soon!
