Well, it's the end of another week. Here at Specialty Life Support we have news to share. This business has been in place and thriving for 11 years. I am the original owner and if you don't know me, I am Maureen Welch. On October 1, 2026 Specialty Life Support will have a new owner Sean Cox. Sean is a seasoned EMS provider and AHA Instructor offering ACLS, PALS, BLS and NRP. Unfortunately since the death of my son Noah I have not found the same motivation to continue teaching. I am mostly retired. My heart actually has shifted gears and honestly my next goal is to serve the Lord. What you need to know is how you have always gotten touch with Specialty Life Support has the same email, website and phone number. There should not be a hiccup with communication. Well, it is now time for change. Specialty Life Support has been going strong since April 2015. Today it is still going strong. Since the beginning my son Noah and I developed a very lucrative business. On September 1, 2024, my son Noah passed away. I have continued on with the business for the last 2 years. I listed my business for sale and within days it has sold. My requirements to decide who to sell to were as follows: An accomplished AHA Instructor, keep this business in the community, continue Wednesday classes, and solid EMS background. This new owner will do great. His name is Sean Cox and he is the best fit for Specialty Life Support. The business phone number to reach him is the same 928-315-1843. His email to reach him is Sean@specialty lifesupport.com. The website will remain the same to enroll for a class. He is ACLS, PALS, and BLS Instructor certified by American Heart Association. Well 2 years ago today at 4pm I awakened to the sound gasps in my son Noah’s room. I had been taking a nap. When I realized what was happening I attemped to call 911. My call made contact with 5 different agencies and dropped my call all 5 times due the cell tower issues. Eventually my hometown fire department answered the call after 17 minutes. The Ft Mohave Mesa Fire Department answered the call. They came into my home and were able to get the return of spontaneous circulation. Noah was transported to Valley View Medical Center. He was placed on Life Support and the hospitals position was he needed to be transported to a higher level of care. The hospital was responsible and kind. I did request him to be withdrawn from life support and they did not agree. If they would have agreed I would have had the opportunity to hold my boy. Instead I never got that opportunity. Once arriving to St Rose Dominican the hospital agreed with me.! 10 hours after his cardiac Arress my husband and myself we agreed to donate his organs. He went on to save many lives. I am thankful for the time I had with him but seems like I miss him more today then eve5. Last year I was still numb. Well now I retiring my business on October1, 2026. There have a lot of health issue with my beloved and it’s my job to be his caring wife. I look forward to whatever future Christ allows him to stay on earth. To Noah I will never let your memory die. To all my children I do love and miss you. My place is by Keith’s side. Thank you to Lauren for everything. I do miss my many friends. Lisa Townsend I miss you vey much! I just want to thank you for sharing your feelings with me when I thought I was gonna lose Keith thank you! To all of my people thank u.

Today's message although feels sad is a win for someone else. On the day of my business partner's 2-year anniversary's death (my son Noah) I will announce that Specialty Life Support AHA Training Site is sold and there is a new owner effective October 1, 2023. All options to contact or register for classes remains the same. The new owner is a qualified Instructor in BLS ACLS and PALS. NRP will be available shortly. I am retiring to care for the rest of my family due to new medical issues that have occurred. Please totoive the new owner your business and help the legacy of Specialty Life Support to live on in the community.

Well, we have it ventured into event, first aid support, and as providers and also as a healthcare workers, we possess the ability to practice first aid on you. I have series of announcements for Specialty Life Support. 1st thank you for all the customers who have come our way over the years. Recently WARMC, VVMC and MCC have converted the Resuscitation education classes to RQI (RQI stands for resuscitation quality improvement, a program designed to enhance resuscitation training and skills for healthcare providers involved in NRP, ACLS, BLS and NRP). As a small business owner, I recognize this is already impacting Specialty Life Support. I am no longer offering NRP as of November 1, 2025. BLS AND CPR AED FIRST AID will continue to be offered at this time. ACLS and PALS are available. Classes are not very full but, enroll because we will be there. I am considering selling my business if someone is interested reach out. For now just thank you.

EXACTLY 2 MONTHS AT 1217 MY BABY BOY PASSED. SO HARD TO BELIEVE.I CONTINUE TO STAND STRONG AND HAVE FAITH THAT THE LORD BROUGHT HIM HOME AFTER MEETING HIS MAXIMAL POTENTIAL ON EARTH TO SERVE IN HEAVEN. I CONTINUE IN RADIO SILENCE AS I PROCESS AND ACCEPT. HARDEST THING I HAVE TO ENDURE EVER. TO ALL OF YOU PEOPLE WHO HAVE EITHER REACHED OUT OR SUPPORT US AS A FAMILY WE WANT TO EXPRESS THE GRATITUDE THAT WE FEEL IN OUR HEARTS. THANK YOU. KEITH AND I ARE NOT TRYING TO MAKE SENSE OF THIS BUT, RATHER TRIED TO FIND A WAY TO WORK THROUGH IN A WAY WE MIGHT DO SOMETHING GREAT IN HIS NAME. OUR ASPRATION WERE IMPARTED UPON US FROM OUR HIGHER POWER. WE WILL BE OPENING A CRISIS NURSERY BED TO HOUSE NEWBORNS WITHOUT A HOME TO GO TO AFTER BIRTH UNTIL THE SYSTEM CAN PLACE THE NEWBORNS IN THEIR PERMANENT HOMES. THE TIME IS AROUND 6 WEEKS OR LESS WHEN THEY ARE WITH US. WE WILL LOVE THEM FEED THEM AND HELP WITHDRAW IF THEY ARE ILL WITH ADDICTION. ANOTHER THING THAT HAS COME FROM THE UNTIMELY DEATH OF OUR SON IS THE CLARITY THAT WE HAVE MANY FAMILIES THAT HAVE HAD THE LOSS OF A CHILD IN OUR RIVER VALLEY AND MOHAVE COUNTY. WE WILL BE STARTING A SUPPORT GROUP FOR FAMILIES WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE LOSS OF A CHILD NO MATTER THE AGE.
NEXT WEEL WE WILL BE ANNOUNCING THE TIME AND DATE FOR THE MONTHLY MEETINGS. LAST BUT, LEAST WE ARE TRYING TO CREATE A FOUNDATION IN WHICH WE WILL CREATE A SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH FETAL ALCOHOL SYNDROME WHO WOULD LIKE TO ATTTEND COLLEGE IN WHICH THE FUNDING WILL SUPPORT BOOKS AND TUTITION. WHEN DOING SO WE ARE LOOKING FOR PARTNERS FOR DONATIONS IN THIS ENDEVOR. OUR TIME TOGETHER HERE AT HOME HEALING IS HARD BUT, WITH LOVE AND TIME OURLORD WILL SEE US THROUGH.
